Sandy Springs Southeast Neighborhoods
The Southeast neighborhood district is located south of I-285, east of Roswell Road, and north of the City of Atlanta.

Benton Woods Civic Association
Located in the Southeast district, the Benton Woods neighborhood includes 1950's to 1970's era homes. The neighborhood has mixed residential styles and types. The association has as its purpose to "encourage friendship and mutual concern for the neighborhood and community" among its residents who range from young families to senior citizens. The Benton Woods association includes 48 homes in the Benton Woods subdivision plus 25 additional homes on Tall Oaks Drive. The area is bounded by Lakeview apartments and I-285 to the north, Berkeley Run apartments and Sherrell Drive to the east; Glenridge Drive and Summit Glen apartments to the south; and Remington apartments and Roswell Road to the west. Keystreets within the neighborhood are Benton Woods Drive, Windy Ridge Drive, Castleridge Drive, and Tall Oaks Drive. 73 homes.�

Highpoint Civic Association

The Highpoint Civic Association district is located inside I-285 within an area bounded on the north by Glenridge Drive, on the south by Nancy Creek, on the west by Roswell Road, on the east by Peachtree Dunwoody, and bi-sected by GA 400. Principle streets include High Point Road, Windsor Parkway, Northland Drive, Franklin Road, High Brook Drive, and Forest Hills Drive. The Highpoint district includes more than 18 neighborhoods featuring homes built from the 1950's such as High Point Forest, to new homes such as Morgan Farm, Inland Point, and Windsor at Peachtree. The residential mix ranges from single professionals, to young marrieds in starter homes, to young families with children, to established families and seniors. Activities include a summer family day at Ridgeview Park, fall block party, and October "Meet the Candidates" political forum. 1,700 homes.�

Ridgeview Neighborhood Civic Association
The Ridgeview Neighborhood Civic Association dates back to the 1960's, with some recent home construction on Peachtree Dunwoody, the main street through the neighborhood. Association boundaries include Trimble Road on the West, DeKalb County to the east and Interstate I-285 on the north, to Windsor Parkway on the south. Ridgeview Neighborhood Association is dedicated to preserving the residential character of the district, and represents the interests of the residents of the area on such issues as zoning, traffic control, building code or other county ordinance violations, and area beautification. 160 homes.�

Willow Glen Condominium Association
Willow Glen Condominium Association is a residential community located off Glenridge Drive that was built in the 1970's. Association concerns include zoning, control of apartment construction, revitalization of Roswell Road, and the incorporation of Sandy Springs. 72 Homes.�

Cherokee Park Civic Association
The Cherokee Park Civic Association is located inside I-285 west of Roswell Road, east of Lake Forest, south of Long Island, and north of Wieuca. Key streets include Kitty Hawk Drive, Kitty Hawk Place, Mystic Place, and Mystic Drive. Homes were built in the 1950s. 92 homes.

Glencastle/Burdette Homeowners Association

Londonberry Neighborhood & Garden Club
The Londonberry Garden Club, founded in 1957, serves the district as a garden club as well as disseminator of neighborhood information. The neighborhood district is located south of I-285, and is bounded by Long Island Drive and Powers Ferry Road. Key streets include Londonberry Road, London Drive, Kenbrook Way, Kenbrook Drive, Middlebury Lane, Marbury Circle, New London Trace, and Windship Place. Activities include family picnics, neighborhood egg hunt & social, garden club luncheon, and monthly garden club programs. 130+ homes.

Idlewood Valley

Marchman Estates Homeowners Association
The Marchman Estates Homeowners Association district includes approximately 22 single-family homes, two of which are original farmhouses from the 1940's. The other homes were built in the early 1960's and were called Marchman Estates. Some of the homes have been renovated from their original 60's style. The residents vary from young married couples with no children, to young families, to middle aged families with teens, to seniors. Located just inside I-285, the Marchman Estates Homeowners Association district is bounded by Eden Roc Lane, Michelle Circle Lake Forest Drive. Key streets are Eden Roc Lane,� Marchman Drive, and Marchman Circle. 22 homes.

Merlandale, Pine & forest Lake Association
The Merlandale neighborhood district includes Merlendale Drive, Merlendale Court, Pine Lake Drive, and Forest Lake Drive. 100 homes.�

Northside Woods Neighborhood Association
The Northside Woods neighborhood district includes over 400 homes, most built since the 1970's. Key streets include Northside Drive, Rebel Trail, Mount Paran Road, and Crest Valley Road. The Association was organized to protect the neighborhood's interests on zoning issues and preserve the residential status as currently designated. 400 homes.

Prado North Condominium Association

he Prado North condominiums are located inside I-285 on Northwoods Drive (formerly Copeland Road)� just off Roswell Road.

Powers Lake Homeowners Association
The Powers Lake neighborhood district is located south of I-285 near Powers Ferry Road, North Powers Ferry and Mt. Vernon Highway. The subdivision, built in the 1980's, features 62 homes, walking trails, and tennis courts framed by an eight-acre lake. 62 homes.

Riverside @ I-285 Homeowners Association
An informal group consisting of Fox Ridge, Fair Oaks Manor, and Riverside Drive residents south of I-285, concerned about Sandy Springs traffic, integrity of neighborhoods, and preservation of quality schools. 30+ homes.


Sandy Springs Central East Neighborhoods
The Central East neighborhood district is located east of Roswell Road, north of I-285, and south of Spalding Drive.

Aberdeen Forest Homeowners Association
The Aberdeen Forest Homeowners Association, which began as the Aberdeen Area Homeowners Association in 1985, was incorporated in 1993. The neighborhood district is bounded by Glenridge Drive to the west, Mt. Vernon Highway to the north, Hammond Drive to the south, and Barfield Road to the east. Key streets are Glenairy Drive, Glenairy Court, Aberdeen Drive, Aberdeen Court plus contiguous properties on Glenridge Drive and Mt. Vernon Highway. The association keeps the neighborhood informed on zoning, road construction, garden club news, and social functions such as� Christmas and 4th of July parties. 100+ homes.

Autumn Chace Homeowners Association

Glenridge Close Homeowners Association
Glenridge Close is located on Glenridge Drive between Mount Vernon Highway and Abernathy Road. This 42-home neighborhood association was formed in 1992 and includes residents living on Glenridge Close Drive, Glenridge Close Court and Glenridge Close Circle. The homes were built between 1992 and 1993. The HOA Annual Meeting is held in the fall of each year.

Glenridge Hammond Neighborhood Association
The Glenridge Forest - Hammond Hills Neighborhood Association recently abbreviated their name to simply� "Glenridge Hammond Neighborhood Association". The neighborhood is located immediately north of I-285, with boundaries that include Johnson Ferry Road on the north, Boylston Road on the west, and Glenridge Drive to the east. Notably, Hammond Drive bisects the neighborhood. The majority of the 500 homes in Glenridge Hammond were built between 1957 and 1965 and are predominately brick ranch style homes. The neighborhood association is supported through volunteer annual membership dues, donations and the active involvement of spirited volunteers. Residents enjoy and appreciate the quaint charm and beauty of the neighborhood as well its proximity to the heart of the Sandy Springs "town center". Activities include neighborhood clean-up-fix-up weekends as well as other fundraising projects such as car washes, plant sales, pine straw sales, a tour of homes, etc.

Glenridge Unit Owners Association, Inc.
The Glenridge Home Owners Association, Inc. includes 46 self managed condominium town homes built in the 1970's. The neighborhood district is located at the intersection of Glenridge Drive and Roswell Road. The association concerns itself primarily with traffic, crime, and zoning issues. Special activities include the Spring Fling, the annual meeting, and long term improvement projects. 46 homes.

The Greater Branches Neighborhood Association
The Greater Branches Neighborhood Association is located north of Abernathy Road and south of Spalding Drive, between Peachtree Dunwoody and Mt. Vernon Highway.

Mt. Vernon Woods Community Association

The Mount Vernon Woods Association district is bounded by Abernathy Road to the north, Mt. Vernon Highway to the south, Roswell Road to the west, and Glenridge Drive to the east. Key neighborhood streets include Vernon Woods Drive, Cherry Tree Lane, and Williamson Drive. Most of the 239 homes in this subdivision were built in the 1950's.

In 1996, Mount Vernon Woods Community enacted a "permanent" homeowners association. 162 members pay dues (of $300 per year) to maintain common areas, support neighborhood swim tennis facilities, and provide for the long term stability of the neighborhood.

Northern Crescent Association

Peachtree Dunwoody North Civic Association
The Peachtree Dunwoody North Civic Association is located near where Peachtree Dunwoody Road intersects at Spalding Drive. The neighborhood is about 35 years old.

Spalding Woods Civic Association
Spalding Woods is a 30 year old community bounded by Roswell Road to the east, Dalrymple to the north, GA 400 to the west, and Glenlake Parkway to the south. The Association seeks to keep the neighborhood and Sandy Springs an attractive vibrant community for our residents of all ages, races and creeds. 260 homes.


SANDY SPRINGS CENTRAL� WEST NEIGHBORHOODS
The Central West neighborhood district is located west of Roswell Road, north of I-285 and south of the Chattahoochee River.�

Amberidge Homeowners Association

The Amberidge Homeowners Association is located in west Sandy Springs near Johnson Ferry Road. The 155-home association includes residents of Amberidge Trail, Old Cabin Road, Amberglades Lane, Mossy Vale Way and River Valley Road west to Colewood Way. The neighborhood features homes built from the 1950's and 1960's in various residential styles and types. The resident mix ranges from single professionals, to young married couples in starter homes, to young families with children, to established families and seniors. The Association's Board and members participate actively in Sandy Springs community building efforts.� Neighborhood social activities include: Newcomer's Cocktail Parties; Easter Egg Hunt; Halloween children's parade; Summer Block Party; Holiday Party.�

Avallon Homeowners Assoc.

Breakwater Homeowner Association
The Breakwater Homeowner Association district is bounded by Johnson Ferry Road, Riverside Drive, and the North Mill neighborhood. The officers and board monitor zoning and transportation issues, keep the neighborhood abreast of community affairs, and sponsor homeowner social activities. 114 homes.

Chattahoochee North Homeowners Assoc.

Forestwood Lane Homeowners Association
The Forestwood Lane Association is located just north of I-285, one block south of Hammond Drive. Forestwood Lane is the main street in this neighborhood, which features 19 homes built in the 1960's.�

Grosvenor Place Association
The Grosvenor Homeowners Association is located north of I-285 between Hammond Drive, Mitchell Road to the west, and Lake Forrest Drive to the east. Key streets are Grosvenor Place and Embassy Court. Most homes date to the 1980's. 35 homes.

Heards Forest Homeowners Assoc.

Lost Forest Civic Association
The Lost Forest neighborhood is located in just off Brandon Mill Road in central west Sandy Springs. Association activities include several parties a year including a 4th July parade complete with fire truck, and a Halloween party and wienie roast for kids.

North Harbor Homeowners Association
The North Harbor subdivision includes homes built mostly in the 1970's. Located just south of the Chattahoochee River corridor, the North Harbor neighborhood district is bounded on the west and north by Riverside Drive, on the east by Johnson Ferry Road, and on the south by Amberidge and Lorian Woods subdivisions. Streets within the subdivision include Blackwater Trail, Blackwater Cove, Schooner Circle, Sea Marsh Court, North Harbor Drive, North Harbor court, Clipper Trail, Chesapeake Point, Lighthouse Point, and Old Harbor Drive. The homeowners association holds board meetings every other month, and sponsors three to four social functions per year in cooperation with the swim and tennis club. 159 homes.

North Mill Road Neighborhood

North Riverside Neighborhood Association
The North Riverside Neighborhood Association includes River North and Riverside Estates subdivisions. The neighborhood district is bounded by Riverside Drive to the north, Marsh Creek to the south, the Chattahoochee River on the west, and Brandon Mill to the east. Many of the homes were constructed between the 1960's and the 1990's. North Riverside is one of the first neighborhoods in Georgia to be certified by the National Wildlife Association as a habitat for endangered non-game wildlife species. 260 homes.

North Springs Homeowners Association

The homes in the Devonwood-Wyncourtney neighborhood district were built in the 1960s and 1970s. The district is bordered by Dalrymple to the North, Brandon Mill Road to the west, and includes some homes on Brandon Mill, Dalrymple, and Spalding Drive. 400+ homes.

River Chase Homeowners Association
The River Chase Homeowners Association is bounded by the Chattahoochee River to the north and Heards Ferry Road to the south. The subdivision is a friendly and active neighborhood with many special amenities for resident families, including a large swim facility, lighted tennis courts and a clubhouse and picnic area by the Chattahoochee River. Special programs and activities include swim and tennis teams for children and adults, holiday and theme parties, a progressive dinner party in February sponsored by the Garden Club, couples bridge group, wine tasting course, and grand parenting club. 165 homes.

Underwood Hills - Long Island Association
The Underwood Hills/Long Island Estates Homeowners Association represents the membership on community and regional issues including transportation, zoning, land use, etc. The neighborhood includes homes built in the late 1950's to 1960's. The area is bounded by Rivershore Estates to the west, Johnson Ferry Road to the east, River Valley Road to the north, and Sandy Springs Circle to the south. Key streets are: Angus Trail, Bonnie Lane, Long Island Place, Long Island Court, Long Island Drive, Underwood Drive, Colebridge Road, Burdette Drive, Scott Valley Road, Bridgewood Valley Road, Colewood Way, and Colewood Court. Activities include annual block party, welcoming committee, Neighborhood Watch, and neighborhood design. 300 homes.

Whispering Pines Neighborhood Association
The Whispering Pines Neighborhood district is bounded by Abernathy Road, Roswell Road, Johnson Ferry Road, and Sandy Springs Circle. Wright Road is one of the key streets. The homeowners association seeks to promote the civic interests of the homeowners by full participation in the political process. Special events and activities include the annual block party and Halloween Hayride. 161 homes.

Winterthur Homeowners Association
Winterthur Homeowners Association extends from the Chattahoochee River on the east, to Northside Drive on the west, to River Chase on the north, and an office park on the south. Activities include a women's brunch, holiday party, progressive dinner, and fall picnic. 59 homes.

SANDY SPRINGS NORTHEAST NEIGHBORHOODS
The Northeast neighborhood district is located in the northeast "panhandle" area known also as Dunwoody extending east towards DeKalb County.�

Four Seasons Subdivision
The Four Seasons Subdivision, developed in the 1970s, is located off Spalding Drive near Roberts Drive. Four seasons is an active community with swim tennis facility. Social activities include weekly summer cookouts at the clubhouse and an annual garage to raise funds for the association. Key streets are Innsbruck Drive and Winged Foot Drive. 76 homes.

River Oaks Homeowners Association
Initial development of the River Oaks neighborhood district began about 20 years ago, with new homes still being built. Key roads include Lazy Oaks Court, Lazy River Lane, Misty Oaks Drive, and Nunally Place. 75 homes.

Rivergate Homeowners Association
The Rivergate neighborhood district is located off the 2600 block of Spalding Drive between Jet Ferry and Roberts Drive. Key streets are Brandon Hall Drive, Quiet Water Drive, and Habersham Waters Drive. 185 homes.

Woodland Forest Homeowners Association
The Woodland Forest neighborhood district is located in the Dunwoody area of Sandy Springs just east of Georgia 400. Most of the homes were built in the '70s. The area is bounded on the east by DeKalb County, and by Spalding Drive near its intersection with Chamblee-Dunwoody Road. 59 homes.

Wyncourtney Garden Club


SANDY SPRINGS NORTHWEST NEIGHBORHOODS
The Northwest neighborhood district is located west of Roswell Road bounded by the City of Roswell and Cobb County.�

Grogan's Bluff Homeowners Assoc.
Grogan's Bluff is located off Roswell Rd. one mile south of Northridge Rd. and Ga. 400. The 126-acre development is situated on a 100-acre tract along Bull Sluice Lake on the Chattahoochee River, and was built around the natural landscape to protect the heavily wooded property. The approximately 150 homes were built between 1984 and 1987. The Bentwater subdivision is accessed through Grogan's Bluff. Grogan's Bluff amenities include a swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, a clubhouse and professionally maintained common areas.

Huntcliff Homeowners Association
The Huntcliff neighborhood district is bounded by the Chattahoochee River to the north and west, Roswell Road on the East, and Hightower Road to the south. The Association was formed to maintain the integrity of the community, and to protect and enhance neighborhood property values. Homes date from the 1970s to the present. Neighborhood activities include the new neighbor welcome and newsletter. 450 Homes.

Woodcliff Condominium Association

Woodcliff are located off Ison Road. Ison Road intersects with Roswell Rd. one light south of the North Ridge / Roswell Rd. intersection. Our condominium complex has 150 units. The complex was built in the early 70's. Our natural landscapes and surrounding wooded buffer makes Woodcliff a serene and beautiful community to live in.
