Now Playing: Control music playback on Apple TV
No matter where you are in the Apple Music app  , you can select a song, then press the Touch surface to start playing it.

Once a song starts playing, it appears in Now Playing.
The song continues to play even if you leave Music, but it stops if you begin playing video or audio in another app.
Go to Now Playing
- Open Music  on Apple TV, then swipe to Now Playing. on Apple TV, then swipe to Now Playing.- Songs adjacent to the currently playing one appear in the Now Playing queue. A timeline also appears showing elapsed and remaining time. When the timeline is active, you can also press the Touch surface to play or pause the song. - Once you start playing a song, the screen changes to show just the currently playing song. Press the  button to return to Now Playing. button to return to Now Playing.
Control music during playback
- With the Now Playing screen open on Apple TV, swipe down to the song you want to play, then press the Touch surface of the Siri Remote to begin playing it. - The Now Playing screen changes to show just the currently playing song. 
- Do any of the following on the Siri Remote: - Pause or play: Press the Play/Pause button  or press the Touch surface. or press the Touch surface.
- Go back to the beginning or skip to the next song: Press the left or right side of the Touch surface to restart the current song or skip to the start of the next song. 
- Rewind or fast forward: Press left or right and hold to rewind or fast forward during playback. Release to resume playback. 
- Move to a specific point in the song: Press the Touch surface to pause the song and reveal the playhead, then swipe left or right to move backward or forward on the timeline. Press the Touch surface again to resume playback. 
- Go back to Now Playing: Press the  button. button.
 
Select other rooms where you want audio to play
- Do either of the following: - With the Now Playing screen open on Apple TV, swipe up to the controls at the top of the screen; swipe left and select  . .
- Press and hold the Play/Pause  button on the Siri Remote. button on the Siri Remote.
 
- Select the room or rooms. - Ask Siri. Say something like: - “Play Troye Sivan in the kitchen and on the living room TV”

Quickly add a song to your library
- With the Now Playing screen open on Apple TV, swipe up and select the Add button  . .
View a song’s lyrics
You can view a song’s lyrics if you’re a member of Apple Music.
- With the Now Playing screen open on Apple TV, swipe up and select the Lyrics button  . .
- Swipe up and down in the lyrics to find a lyric you want to hear, then press the Touch surface of the Siri Remote.  - As you swipe up and down, a button appears to indicate the specific time where each lyric can be heard in the song’s timeline. Press the Touch surface of the Siri Remote to begin playback from that point. 
To turn lyrics off, swipe up and select the Lyrics button  at the top of the screen.

Note: The Lyrics button won’t appear if lyrics aren’t available for the currently playing song.

- With the Now Playing screen open on Apple TV, swipe up and select the More button  at the top of the screen. Depending on the song, you may be able to: at the top of the screen. Depending on the song, you may be able to:- Go to the album 
- Go to the artist 
- Add the song to or delete the song from your library 
- View the song lyrics 
- Add the song to a playlist 
- Play the song next 
- Start a custom radio station from the song 
- Flag the song as one you love or dislike 
- Change your speaker settings 
 
Repeat a song or songs
- With the Now Playing screen open on Apple TV, swipe up and select the Repeat button  at the top of the screen. at the top of the screen.- To repeat the current song, select the Repeat button again. 
Shuffle songs
- With the Now Playing screen open on Apple TV, swipe up and select the Shuffle button  at the top of the screen. at the top of the screen.
