New official Stressfest transcription book
Now available, another new official transcription book! Following up to the Out Standing In Their Field transcription book, Steve again teamed up with transcriber Danny Bayer, this time for Stressfest.
Steve said: “One of the best parts of my job is getting to work with, and learn from, the best people in the music business. I’m a perpetual student, and it helps me to do better in all things to learn from the best.
This book is incredibly well done, and working with Denny has made me try harder to end up like him: tireless, absolutely accurate, surprisingly creative in finding ways to extrapolate notes that are not clearly heard, or using deductive logic. He would forensically find all of the clues to conclude which fingering mush have been used (for those times where I couldn’t be sure which way I recorded it). Oh yeah, AND he can play literally any passage in the entire book on guitar, very well.
Bottom line is this book is the most accurate transcription I’ve ever been a part of, just like the last one: Out Standing In Their Field. I hope you enjoy it, and I will keep it nearby for my own reference!”
