Louisville at Miami on a Friday night.

I have my eye on this one as well.

Louisville is a 13.5 point underdog at Miami.

It's hard to shake the memories of last year.

This is a new team; it's a way better team.

You don't have to convince me of that if you're a Miami fan.

But Virginia Tech did happen last year.

It was a close game.

Cal had to come from behind in the Georgia Tech game.

We lost at Syracuse; we lost.

Just the consistency and performance, the ability to be mature and take care of your business, that's part one of this.

Part two, is this is not merely a make sure we don't beat ourselves, and we have nothing to worry about spot.

Louisville's not a bad team.

This is a bigger test for you than Florida State was.

It's just we didn't realize that at the time, because see, Louisville's off a bye week as well.

And you got Jeff Bram coming off a bye.

I think he's the most underrated coach in the country.

They will have a plan cooked up here, and for all the talk about the quarterback position here being a little turnover prone, Miller Moss, if you get him on the right night, he's got a 7 to 4 touchdown to interception ratio right now, so they've had problems with turnovers.

If he's on against you, that doesn't matter.

So this is really where that secondary gets tested, and I've got it at a 6.

It's a 13.5 point spread.

Miami should take care of business, but you gotta show me the competitive maturity.

Find out about those standards.

Find out if we're gonna get the consistency and performance.

I'm putting it at a 6.
