Project for the creation of new logos, modifications of existing ones, or new versions. This is specifically about the images themselves - for for uploading new ones use Wikimedia-Site-requests and such.
Can probably use this for icons as well, especially for standalone sorts - for some things there's a bit of an overlap anyway, such as for mw components and other tools. The point is we need something for visual identification for these.

@Aafi I'm really sorry for taking your time, but, after digging into some comments, it appeared that your new logo is using a non-free licence font "nastaleeq", which is not accepted as per WMF's policy. However, those comments are made before 10 years and the free licence of the font could be released within these years. As I said before I have no knowledge of Urdu font so I need your further clarification on the licence of "nastaleeq", would you provide us with any clue to display its free licence?
@Aafi Glad to help again. The current logo also works on my end, and I will do the change soon.
Though it's been a long, the logo was recently adjusted according to the relevant en variant, and seems to work one. The tests seem fine on my side.

CI now generates wmf-config/logs.php and would bail out if there is any difference compared to what is in the branch.
Note that this task only asserts that the php file structure is consistent with the /static files. It doesn't assert that the /static files are consistent with the Commons files, but them not being consistent isn't as big as a deal as it doesn't interfere with other logo changes.

Some tox.ini refactoring patches got fixed.
I have send a series of patches. The important patch https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/operations/mediawiki-config/+/1127110 which introduces tox -e diff which is the equivalent of:
tox -e logos -- generate git --no-pager diff --exit-code wmf-config/logos.php
That will be invoked by CI to generate the logos.php and if there is any difference, --exit-code causes git diff to exit 1 hich would cause a failure if there is any difference. That means CI will fail the build whenever someone forgot to tox -e logos -- update xxx or for whatever over reason.
