While many of the programs at LiveSafe Resources focus on helping women and children escape violence at home, men also play a crucial role in the fight to end assault and abuse.

SafeGuards, a men’s committee, supports the LiveSafe Resources mission to foster a community without violence in homes. Members actively advocate for victims of domestic and sexual violence, and many also commit to an additional level of involvement focused on reaching and teaching young men in our schools. They assist with the important tasks of advocacy, prevention and education, so more young men can grow up understanding what it means to be a loving and caring male figure. Safeguards stand as strong, male voices for ending domestic violence and sexual assault — a vital part of our community outreach.
