I am using PHP 8.4 or 8.5 for testing, however, when I try to create a project with:
symfony new project-name --webapp
an error occurs. I’m including only part of the error below.
Note: without the --webapp option it works without any errors.

Problem 1
    - Root composer.json requires symfony/webapp-pack * -> satisfiable by symfony/webapp-pack[v1.0.0, ..., v1.4.0].
    - doctrine/doctrine-bundle[1.8.0, ..., 1.10.3] require php ^5.5.9|^7.0 -> your php version (8.5.0) does not satisfy

We indeed depend on the release of DoctrineBundle 3.1 here (see doctrine/DoctrineBundle#1910 (comment)). As a workaround you can do the following:

symfony new project-name
cd project-name
composer require doctrine/doctrine-bundle:^3.1@dev symfony/orm-pack
composer require symfony/webapp-pack

DoctrineBundle 3.1 is released so the workaround shouldn't be necessary anymore.
