I have a Bsc degree in Information Technology and a College certificate with major in Computer Science and Chemistry Education. I have been a contributor of Wikimedia projects since 2018 and become organizer in 2021. I was certified as a trainer by Wikimedia UK and participated in several online capacity building workshops by organisations and groups such as Art+Feminism, Wiki in Africa and WUGN. Outside the Wikimedia movement, I am a multiple award winning writer, poet and novelist.
About my work in the Wikimedia Movement
My contributions in Wikimedia focused largely on reviewing, improving and creating new contents primarily on English, Fulfulde, Karai-Karai, Naija Pidgin and Hausa language versions of Wikipedia. I also work on MediaWiki, Wikidata, Wikivoyage, Wikibooks, Incubator, and other Wikimedia Projects. I also play part in the administrative roles on Fulfulde Wikipedia. I co-founded Wikimedia Fulfulde Community in the year 2022.
