UPE banned editor?

[edit]

[1] would you mind stating or emailing me the information to confirm this is a banned editor and who the master is? I watch a bunch of related pages and want to know what to watch out for. (t · c) buidhe 01:58, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

buidhe: I track all of their edits both from accounts and IPs at m:Wikiproject:Antispam/Qatar tracker. There's multiple masters because it is a single actor contracting multiple freelancers. The most active right now is Bennet43. I'll send you an email with details on how to detect them. MarioGom (talk) 16:16, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Buidhe: I sent you an email with all the WP:BEANSy details. By the way, some of their edits may be ok. I'm ok with other users reinstating them, just keep in mind that in the past many were blatant copyvio, or failed verification, had due weight issues or added duplicate info, etc. As long as an editor in good standing takes responsibility for checking these aspects, I think reinstating any of these edits is fine. Thanks so much! Now I know what to watch out for. (t · c) buidhe 04:50, 23 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Heads up

[edit]

That I posted this here. It does not address anything related to AfDs, but I asked them about their use of AI, so thought you might be interested to follow. I also asked them here about WP:BEFORE, though I'm not confident they will reply given the lack of replies in the past. I'm also quite concerned about this edit WRT the potential use of AI, but will take it one step at a time. i know you're a dog 04:29, 1 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Xamarin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Android. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

  • Who are the most overlooked and interesting Women in Red? We've no idea,
but we're putting together our list of the 100 most interesting ex-Women in Red.
We are creating the list to celebrate 10 years of Women in Red and we hope to present it at Wikimania.
We are ignoring the obvious, so do you have a name or subject we should consider?
Can you suggest a DYK style hook?
If you are shy about editing that page, you are welcome to add ideas and comments on the talk page.
