Request for job title update
[edit]![]() | An impartial editor has reviewed the proposed edit(s) and asked the editor with a conflict of interest to go ahead and make the suggested changes. |
I'm hoping Wikipedia editors can update this article's infobox and introduction to accurately reflect Priscilla Almovodar's full title, which is president and CEO of Fannie Mae.
The article currently notes that Almodovar joined Fannie Mae as chief executive officer in 2022, which is correct. But the role of president was held by David Benson until 2024 when he stepped down. Almodovar then assumed the additional title of president, which included the management responsibilities of overseeing the single-family and multi-family business units. This article from HousingWire and this article from National Mortgage Professional both cover the news and include all of the relevant details.
I'm hoping that editors can refer to the news citations above and update the infobox job title to "President and CEO of Fannie Mae" and the introduction to "Priscilla Almodovar is the president and chief executive officer of Fannie Mae" or similar wording.
I handle comms for Fannie Mae and my understanding is that I should post requests like this here. Please let me know if you require any further information or if I need to adjust my formatting. Thanks! DMfromFM (talk) 15:52, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
Go ahead: I have reviewed these proposed changes and suggest that you go ahead and make the proposed changes to the page. @DMfromFM Rusalkii (talk) 21:32, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- I updated the infobox and introduction. Does that look okay? DMfromFM (talk) 18:01, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
- Yep, looks good to me. Rusalkii (talk) 02:09, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- Wonderful, thank you Rusalkii. I just posted another small request (see below) that it would be great if you could review. I'm not sure how many editors are paying attention to this page. DMfromFM (talk) 14:47, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
- The COI edit request queue is very backlogged right now, using the template gets you on the list and someone gets to it eventually even if no one is watching this page but eventually may be months, I know it's frustrating. Rusalkii (talk) 18:01, 8 May 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I have another request for a small article update.
Right now the article includes the claim that "From 2021 to 2025, Almodovar served on then-United States Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm’s Energy Advisory Board, and was a member of its place-based working group to address the energy transition of underserved communities."
This isn't quite correct, though. The cited source makes it clear that the Energy Advisory Board members only served through 2023. And Priscilla Almodovar actually left the board in 2022 when she became CEO of Fannie Mae.
Given the inaccuracies, would editors be willing to simply remove this claim? The current citation is a press release and I can't find any media coverage that provides further details.
Because of my conflict of interest I’m hoping another editor might be able to help me with this request. Thanks! DMfromFM (talk) 15:40, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
