- Compared the current version to the previous, with significant cuts of sections that were well cited and seem to be consistent with other profiles of prominent business people. - The COI tag was just added by me after I made those edits to remove some of the promotional content. I still have concerns about the neutrality, tone, and sourcing in the article given the apparently repeated and consistent COI editing by single-purpose accounts. In addition to the unsourced content that is still in the article, few of the citations have URL links, and I was not able to verify all the news articles exist or check them to see if the content in the Wikipedia article is an accurate, NPOV, and DUE use of those sources. – notwally (talk) 19:33, 25 September 2024 (UTC)

Hello, I work for Howard Milstein. In the past I edited without disclosing my conflict of interest, but thanks to some guidance from editors in the community, I have now learned about Wikipedia's policies for conflict of interest editing, and my conflict is disclosed on my user page.
Now that I understand the proper guidelines, I will use the COI tag to request non-promotional, well sourced additions to the page. I hope you'll consider adding the following information to the page.

- In 2005, Milstein led Emigrant Bank in depositing $1,000 to bank customers whose homes were directly impacted by Hurricane Katrina. After Superstorm Sandy in 2012, Milstein and the bank donated $2.3 million in total to more than 2,000 New York Police and firefighter first responders.[3][4]

To the Philanthropy section, please add:
- In 2017, Milstein announced a $20 million donation to promote the integration of technology and the humanities between the Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences and Cornell Tech.[2][3]
- Milstein runs the Howard & Abby Milstein Foundation, a philanthropic organization focused on initiatives such as global health, national security, education, and economic prosperity.[4] He serves as the chairman of the American Skin Association,[5] and he sits on the boards of the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation,[6] and the National September 11 Memorial Foundation.[7] He is the former chairman of the New York Blood Center.[8]
