10 Years of the Lemann Brazil Research Fund at Harvard University

The Lemann Brazil Research Fund 10-Year Report (2016–2025) highlights a decade of partnership between Harvard University and Brazil, showcasing the impact of 63 research projects led by Harvard scholars in collaboration with more than 170 Brazilian researchers from 70 institutions across 26 states. Over the past ten years, these initiatives have expanded opportunities for researchers and students, strengthened academic and institutional ties, and generated knowledge that drives real-world impact—reaffirming Harvard’s enduring commitment to collaborative research that makes a difference.

Faculty Grants

DRCLAS offers Harvard faculty funding support for research on or in Latin America and the Caribbean. For this Fall 2025 application cycle, Faculty Grants will support collaborative research projects, individual research projects, exploratory research funds, and research conferences. We will also offer grants through our partnership with the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile for collaborative research projects.
