The Missouri Department of Natural Resources, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and The Doe Run Co. are hosting an informational meeting and open house to discuss the cleanup progress and redevelopment plans for the Doe Run-Herculaneum Lead Smelter site. The open house will be from 6:30-7 p.m., the formal meeting and presentations will be from 7-8 p.m. and will include a question-and-answer session. An additional open house availability session will be held after presentations, from 8-8:30 p.m.

This meeting and open house is an opportunity for the public to ask questions, share information and discuss issues with staff. The department is accepting written comments on the proposed cleanup plan until Nov. 10, 2025. Follow the link below for more information about the public comment period.
