Local name
[edit]I use InstantCommons and I'm very happy with it.
I know how to change the local description, but I don't know how to rename the file (= giving a local name on my wiki). How to do that? 87.91.51.235 (talk) 18:36, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
- Try making a redirect at the local wanted name. — Jeff G. ツ 13:54, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
Update
[edit]I think the info in the page is oudated. In every Wikimedia Fountadion project I can use Wikimedia Commons media (but not yet global templates.
On the other hand, I cannot see the subscribing signs here to include them ~~~~ , <nowiki>...</nowiki>
tags and a preview botton. BoldLuis (talk) 13:40, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Exclude certain file categories or extensions
[edit]Is it possible to exclude certain file categories or extensions from the returned search results? For instance, there are tons of PDF books uploaded to commons (like commons:File:Conserves de fruits et de légumes en boîtes de fer-blanc - comment les faire chez soi (IA conservesdefruit00aren).pdf) that seems to be returned with pretty much every search and that are always irrelevant.
