Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics

Welcome to DPMMS

The Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics (DPMMS) (including the Statistical Laboratory as a sub-department) conducts teaching and research across a wide range of pure mathematics, probability and statistics.   DPMMS currently hosts over 100 Academic and Research Staff and around 80 PhD students over three Pavilions as part of the Centre for Mathematical Sciences.

FOR INFORMATION: We have been made aware of the website 'infinity25.org' that appears to be hosting a mathematics/physics conference in Cambridge this September.  This conference is not organised or hosted by anyone at the University of Cambridge mathematics faculty.  As always, we urge caution in entering personal information on websites.
