\n\n\n\n\nIf you reached State Pension age before 6 April 2016, you need to claim the basic State Pension instead. If you’re over 80, you might also be able to make a claim for the over 80 pension.
\nIf you want to claim on someone else’s behalf, you must be able to manage their claim.

- start or stop getting a benefit from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) \n
- change your bank details \n
- marry or form a civil partnership \n
- get divorced or your civil partnership is dissolved \n
- are widowed or your civil partner dies \n
- go to prison \n
- are held in legal custody \n
