Description
This is a mini-book I made for my Space Unit in Science class about the Solar System.
I print and copy the pages, and also copy the lined paper (included in PDF) onto the back of each page.
The students cut along the dotted lines and assemble the pages in order. I go around and staple the books together.
Then, after the students have assembled the books, we copy interesting facts about the planets/sun/moon/etc onto the back of each page. You're on your own with the facts, though. I like space-facts.com; it has some very good information about all the planets and other bodies in the Solar System that you can choose and level for your kids.
I offer my products free of charge, because I know how helpful free products are to teachers looking for classroom resources. I made these books when I was a volunteer teacher at a school in Honduras -- if you're able, they would appreciate a donation (any amount helps!) at https://becaschools.networkforgood.com/. Please note that I DO NOT expect donations in exchange for downloads. This product is a gift to the TPT community.

This was very easy to use with my 4th graders. It was very easy to follow.
My students loved using this resource during our solar system unit! This was probably our most-used resource during that time. Not only did the students enjoy coloring the different pages, but they also enjoyed having a tiny reference book of their own to refer to! Highly recommended!
My students loved this booklet! It helped them recall the planets & prepare for our trip to NASA!
Any time I can find a flip or mini book I know the students will enjoy!
Rather than make mini books, my students used these as notes pages after we learned about groups of planets.
