This document presents a study on tourist perceptions and satisfaction towards hotels in Agra, India. It discusses the hotel industry in India and Agra specifically. The objectives are to study hotel performance, identify gaps in tourist perceptions and satisfaction, investigate problems faced by tourists, and suggest improvements. Primary data was collected through surveys using SERVQUAL to measure service quality across five dimensions. Analysis found that 40% of tourists were business owners, 44% chose hotels for convenient location, and reliability and responsiveness had positive satisfaction gaps while empathy and assurance did not. Suggestions include cultural events, exhibitions, and improved amenities to enhance the tourist experience.
