 Penguins eat fish
 They spit food into the baby’s mouth

 A penguin has razor-sharp beak
 They are black and white with orange or gray
 Their stream lined bodies makes them good
swimmers.
 Penguins are covered in feathers and have
stumpy little legs.
 Penguins have webbed feet short necks.
 Penguins live in cold seas around Antarctica
 Penguins live south of the equator
 Penguins live on the coasts of South Africa,
New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Peru, and the
Galapagos Islands
 The female penguin lays an egg
 Eggs must be kept warm, so the chicks inside
can grow
 Most penguins build nests and sit on their
eggs
