Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) is a comprehensive approach to analyzing datasets through various numerical and graphical methods to uncover patterns, trends, and structures, while also detecting outliers. The aim of EDA is to maximize insight into a dataset by generating good research questions, restructuring data, and using appropriate graphical tools, leading to conclusions verified by Confirmatory Data Analysis (CDA). EDA can be cross-classified into graphical/non-graphical and univariate/multivariate methods, simplifying the data while preserving essential information.
