Recursos http :// news.bbc.co.uk /2/ hi / video_and_audio / news_summary /8070822. stm   For this activity we will use the One Minute World News offered by the BBC in the website mentioned above.
Actividades SESSION 1 Pre viewing (10 minutes) Students come up with recent news. I will write down the headlines they mention on the board. I will provide headlines from the newspapers that will correspond to the TV news to help prompt ideas of the news items students are going to watch afterwards.
Actividades Viewing – Headlines (20 minutes) I will play the One Minute BBC News headlines  without  the sound. Pair work  – Students discuss the stories in the headlines and predict vocabulary. Feedback.
Actividades We will watch it  with  sound and check the predictions the students made. They will share their predictions with the rest of the class and I will make sure they understood the each news clearly, in order to achieve this we will play the news again and pause after each news item for comprehension/questions/new vocabulary.  (20 minutes)
Evaluación The techniques I will use will be direct and indirect observation.  In order to decide the degree of achievement of the objectives I will follow the following criteria: Ability to understand and interpret information from a news reader on television in a limited time. Ability to communicate ideas related to the chosen news items. Accuracy in the use of the new vocabulary.
