This document summarizes a presentation given at the eLearning Consortium of Colorado on April 17, 2014. The presentation was a research project conducted by CSU-Global and BJ Bagwell to analyze discussions in CSU-Global courses to determine how Bloom's taxonomy is used. CSU-Global strives to continually improve student learning and the learning process through their strategic curriculum and notes Bloom's level in their course design documents. All CSU-Global courses employ verbs from Bloom's taxonomy to classify thinking by different levels of complexity.
