This document outlines the scope and sequence for visual art approaches to learning (ATL) skills from years 1 to 5. It introduces, practices, and masters organizational skills, collaborative skills, communication skills, information literacy, problem solving and thinking skills, reflection, and research and investigation skills. For each skill, it indicates whether students are being introduced, practicing, or mastering specific abilities within that skill area at each grade level. The goal is to help students progress from an introductory level to mastery of these important skills through visual art over the 5 years.
