Diamond is earth mined. Crystal was probably cut and polished in New York, as New York was thriving Jewelry manufacturing center in late Victorian, Edwardian and Art deco eras. As end of second World War, jewelry making was the lucrative manufacturing business pursued by Europeans. Ring is aged correctly with coherent wear and tear. Diamond is in good shape, with no external chips. Such chips and cracks would have happened in misuse. Ring was well taking care of.
