Perfect for a holiday when you need to free up stovetop space 🦃
Crock pot mashed potatoes
• 3 lbs potatoes (peeled or skin on)
• 1/2-1 cup heavy cream, whole milk or 2%
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 2 tsp salt- more to taste
• 1 tsp black pepper- more to taste
• 3 tsp garlic diced
• 1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup butter-softened
Instructions
• Spray your crock pot. Cut potatoes in chunks and add to the crockpot along with salt, pepper, garlic and chicken broth. Cook on high 3 hours
• Add the butter, sour cream, 1/2 cup milk/cream and more seasoning to taste.
• mash with a potato masher or a hand mixer until desired consistency, adding more milk as needed
• After potatoes are mashed add more seasoning, sour cream, or butter to your taste
