This diagram lays out the distribution of types of sunlight throughout an existing building , and provides analysis on how to respond to the amounts of sunlight going into the building. To me, this diagram succeeds beause of its use of consistent colors from diagram to diagram to allow for the viewer to follow without having to do much reading. The use of different tones of the same yellow is also satisfying, especially given the diagram's content
