New Orleans House

Grace King House - 1749 Coliseum St - Garden District - Built 1847 for banker Frederick Rodewald. Sold to novelist Grace King 1904, who lived there until her death in 1932. King began her writing career as a response to George Washington Cable’s negative portrayal of Louisiana Creole.
