Physcia aipolia 'Hoary Rosette Lichen' (damp)
Thank you Otto and Antonio for the ID. A foliose lichen with a green thallus and developing a mass of apothecia with a brownish disc and a pale green margin. I was fortunate to come across a very large recently fallen Douglas Fir tree which had a rich assemblage of lichens in its canopy - far more than were on its large trunk near the ground.
