Saturday 28th December 2013 saw British Rail Class 55 Deltic No. D9009 Alycidon put in charge of The Winter Settler ran by Pathfinder railtours from Crewe -Carlisle via Derby. The tour would start from Crewe and run down to Derby via Wolverhampton and Walsall under DB Schenker Class 67 motive power; D9009 would later take control of the tour from Derby onwards.
