You can plant spring bulbs in pots through January! I just did mine with tulips and grape hyacinth. You can layer your bulbs with different bloom times so your pot is always overflowing with color! I.e. crocus, hyacinth, early and mid season tulips, etc. Waiting to plant means you save big on winter bulbs sales and push out your bloom time a smidge.
