Pink agate stimulates intuition, imagination and artistic qualities. Agate is formed in many different colours, although very vibrant pinks sometimes mean that the stone has been dyed. The ancient Romans used to dye agate and the dying process was a secret for many years. Agate is a stabilizing stone and one of the oldest recorded in history. It was used by the Babylonians for ornaments, and by the ancient Greeks and Egyptians for jewellery and amulets.
