1. Gather a small, top section of your hair. There should be a lot of hair left out around your face.
2. Pin this top section at the back of your head on either side. Make sure you don’t secure the entire top section like you would when pulling it into a half-up ponytail. This allows for the hair comb to sit nestled in the small section of curls that are unpinned.
3. Place the hair comb in the middle of your half-up, pinned section of hair.
4. If needed, pull any other curls loose so your curly pattern is evident and nothing looks too tightly pulled back.
