Crows in my neighborhood are skittish and don't like people staring at them (especially people with long lenses attached to their cameras). To get my crow photos, I feed the crows a few meal worms every day. They caw at me in the morning when they see me in the kitchen. Even then, I have to set up the camera on a tripod inside the house to take photos through the window.
