Walnut and White Laminated Glass. The clients wanted a sliding door to close off their kitchen. I came up with these, which they thankfully chose, though I then had to make it work. That's the most fun with a project like this. At night, with the doors closed and the kitchen lights on, the doors become a lantern of sorts. These doors received the 2007 Interior Design Magazine Best of Year Award for Innovation.
