The peacefulness of Bali’s central highlands offers a stark contrast to the large crowds and chaotic energy of the south of the island. Although often overlooked by tourists, we love visiting this area and spending time amongst central Bali’s beautiful natural scenery.
One of our favourite places to visit in the central highlands is Munduk, a small village in the Buleleng region surrounded by cascading waterfalls, luscious rice terraces, and serene mountainous landscapes.
