A hand-loomed and hand-dyed indigo cotton futon fragment. The different shades of solid indigo patches in a variety of hues are offset by unusual kasuri resembling a starry night sky with subtle streaks of white. All stitched together using a simple running stitch (sashiko). A beautiful soulful cloth.
