It is hand made and it is constructed from quarter inch steel (not cast, not big box store, this is a heavy piece). It has a rust patina finish that will darken with time for a truly rustic look, it also has a rain drain. The "Aztec" Fire Bowl Fire Pit will last a lifetime for generations to enjoy. This Fire Bowl Fire Pit was created for wood burning but it can also be converted to a propane Fire Bowl Fire Pit by purchasing an available kit for additional cost.
