Turning a 9’6 noserider is not a simple task and doing it with elegance requires even more practice. Differently from any other boards you have to use your body to perform the turn. The board won’t turn id you are planted in the middle and trying to move it with your shoulders. You have to move your feet back and forth from tail to nose to effect the trajectory and speed of the board. Hence why we nose ride it. By stepping forward towards the nose you gain speed and nose ride. By stepping backward towards the tail you slow the board and turn it. Since noseriding is nothing else but going at the same speed of the wave and staying in the pocket this is the movement you need to perform in order to increase or decrease speed and lock your board onto the wave. The rest is pleasure.
