The leachianus gecko is also known as the new caledonian giant gecko or simply as the giant gecko. It is therefore of no surprise that the species is the largest existing gecko. Although their size can be daunting, they are rather easy to maintain. Commonly referred to as leachie, this new caledonian giant requires a cool humid terrarium with a temperature range of 72 to 80 f.
