One of my favorite ways to enjoy dumplings is by either steaming or boiling them and finishing them off with what I like to call the best or the ultimate sauce - with the perfect balance of savory, heat, sweetness, and acidity. Let’s not forget the aromatics that really take it up a notch!

• 1 tsp Garlic
• 1 Scallion and coriander, fresh
Condiments
• 1/2 tbsp Chili oil or chili garlic sauce
• 2 tbsp Soy sauce

• 12 pieces of Dumplings/wontons, homemade or store-bought
• 2 tbsp Water or broth from dumplings
Baking & Spices
• 1/2 tsp Sesame seeds
• 2 tsp Sugar
Oils & Vinegar
• 2 tbsp Chinese black vinegar
• 2 tsp Sesame oil
Other
• 1 tbsp Doubanjiang ((see notes))
