Extreme makeover, kitchen edition! I painted my oak cabinets in my 14 year old home, using a mixture of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and Behr Semigloss. 3 parts ASCP "Graphite," 1 part Behr latex semigloss "Black Suede." The fraction of semigloss was enough to give a bit of sheen to the otherwise flat chalk finish of ASCP. It easily adhered w/o sanding! I brush painted the cabinet boxes, sprayed the doors with an air sprayer. Everything got 2 coats, NO SEALER! Easily wipes down, it's been month+
