Classic wool tweed sport coat. Maker label: "Cricketeer - Houseman's - Grand Rapids." Union label: "Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America" (black numbering - in use 1968- 1976). The jacket is made from a course wool, woven into wide and narrower stripes in light and dark brown, white, blue, and green fibers. It closes at the front with 2 leather covered metal buttons, and has two coordinating buttons on each cuff. The jacket is 3/4 lined with in what appears to be acetate fabric (not cold to the touch like viscose). There are two outside waist pockets; single outside chest pocket; and two inside chest pockets. There is a single back vent. The overall condition is very good, with minor wear to the leather buttons (see photos).
