Think you don’t like sautéed spinach?  Try this! You may just discover a new favorite!😍   🍃4-6 cups spinach (whatever you’ve got) 🍃1-16 cloves garlic - just sayin’ add as much as you want!  🍃Dash hot pepper flakes 🍃Lemon zest & zest 🍃Salt & pepper  * Heat pan. Heat oil. * Add sliced garlic and let it soften for 20-30 seconds - don’t brown, reduce heat to medium  * Add some hot pepper flakes * Toss in fresh spinach- as much as the pan can hold - it will shrink to 1/4 of its size.  * Let it cook down. When 80% of spinach has shrivelled and cooked down, turn off heat, the rest will shrivel on its own.  * Add lemon zest, salt, pepper and squirt of lemon juice. Stir and enjoy. It takes about 5-7 minutes  It’s great as a side dish or as a main with a fried egg on top.

What’s one technique I wish I knew for spinach when I first learned to cook?

Have you ever noticed a difference between bright almost nuclear green spinach and over cooked dull brown spinach. 

This has all to do with the Cooking Technique. When you have a little bit of knowledge in the kitchen, it can go along way.

One of my favorite kitchen tools is ours all clad steamer insert. It is a workhorse in the kitchen and serve so many functions in our day-to-day cooking. 

I’m so excited to share this technique with you where I’m showing you how easy it is to maintain the gorgeous bright green. Sometimes if I’m short on ice I’ll even use a freezer bag.

This technique can be similarly seen when dipping the spinach quickly into boiling water, known as blanching.

High protein, healthy spinach wrap!   Welcome to Ep 2 of my Healthy recipe series!   This healthy, high protein, gluten free spinach and hummus wrap is so so tasty, filling and scrumptious.   I’ve lost 7 kgs in a month and this is one of the things I eat around 1-2 times a week for dinner or lunch.   This makes around 3-4 wraps and it’s perfect for families too.   All you need for the wraps is :  - 1 bunch spinach (wash, cook in boiling water for 3-4 mins, remove, strain water and dip in ice cold water, later strain out water).  - 1 inch ginger.  - 2 green chillies.  - 1.5 cups Besan (chickpea flour).  - Salt to taste.  - Water as needed.
