Shoulder Rolls

As we start to do more shoulder rolls in class, thought this would be helpful…

STEP 1: Start in a yoga plow pose with feet over head, toes on the ground.

Step 2: Drag your toes from side to side, rolling from one shoulder blade to the other. Turn your head towards direction of feet.

STEP 3: Bend & reach knees to the ground as you go side to side.

STEP 4: As knees come down, roll up to a sit with feet to the side.

STEP 5: Retrograde back into plow position, and roll to sit on the other side.

TIP - you can always place your hands on your back and use your elbows like a kickstand to keep your pelvis up.
