Don’t Water Your Orchids With Ice Cubes!

Reasons why: • Most orchids that we buy from the store like phalaenopsis orchids are tropical orchids and they have never been exposed to freezing or cold showers and temperatures when in the wild. • just like how cold temperatures at night can kill a plant, ice can damage and kill the orchids tissue. • Just adding Ice to your orchid to water it may be too much or too little depending on the potting medium and it can result in a dead orchid If you want to learn how to properly water your orchid check out my other pins.
