Bhagwan Ganesha loves sweets. Modak and ladoo are the favorite sweets of Ganesha and often served as naivedhyam or bhog. Today's Ganesh Ji special recipe - Boondi Ladoo. Do try it out once!

Ingredients 👇

Besan – 500gms
 • Turmeric – a pinch
 • Yellow colour – a pinch
 • Orange colour – a pinch
 • Water – 600ml
 • Oil – for frying
 • Back cardamom – 4no
 • Melon seeds – handful
 • Cardamom powder – 1tsp

For syrup:
 • Sugar – 900 gms
 • Water – 400ml
 • Yellow colour – a pinch
 • Orange colour – a pinch

Steps 👇
 • Make a batter with besan and then fry them in hot oil. Drain it in a strainer.
 • For syrup we need to make one string consistency sugar syrup. Add colour to the syrup along with cardamom powder.

Ingredients & Instructions:
 • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of besan (chickpea flour, I used laddu besan) and about 1~1.25 cups of water. Mix well to make a lump free, pourable batter. 
 • Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan on medium-high heat. Add a ladleful of batter to the ladoo spoon and spread it around to let the boondi drop into the hot oil. Cook the boondi till very lightly golden. Remove using a slotted spoon onto a baking sheet or a large plate. Repeat with the remaining batter. 
 • Deep fry 2 tablespoons each of cashews and raisins to the hot oil and fry until golden. Alternatively you can also fry them in some ghee and use. 
 • Combine 1 cup of sugar with 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer until the sugar syrup reaching a single thread co
