Ingredients 
 • 1 1/3 cup of fruit
 • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice if you’re doing blueberries or sweet cherries
 • 1 1/2 tablespoons of pectin
 • Up to 1/2 cup of white sugar
 • 12/2 pint canning jars with lids and seals

Directions 
 •  wash your jars with hot soapy water and let air dry, 
 • Combine your fruit, lemon juice if needed, and pectin stir and let heat up for about a minute
 • Then add your sugar and heat up until it bubbles for at least a minute
 • Put into your jars making sure the tops are clean add your seals and your lids 
 • Put in a hot water bath for about 20 minutes set your timer once it starts boiling
 • When it’s done remove let cool make sure they’re sealed then label and date the

Jam Recipe - Sure-Jell Regular Sugar 
 • 5 cups crushed berries 
 • 7 cups sugar
 • 1 tsp orange zest 
 • 1 package Sure-Jell fruit pectin 
 • 1/4 tsp butter (optional)

Instructions 
 • 1) Measure fruit into large sauce pan (not aluminum)
 • 2) In a separate bowl - measure out sugar - set aside
 • 3) Stir one package Sure-Jell into fruit - stir well 
 • 4) Optional - add butter
 • 5) Add orange zest to fruit
 • 6) Bring fruit mixture to full rolling boil on high heat, stirring constantly (a boil that doesn’t stop as you stir)
 • 7) Add prepared sugar to fruit mixture
 • 8) Bring back to full rolling boil - boil for one minute exactly, stirring constantly
 • 9) Remove from heat
 • 10) Ladle immediately into warmed jam jars
 • 11) Wipe rim and cover with two-piece li
