Elegant victorian dress for fall wedding

Lorrie Deb, San Francisco. Sleeves are sheer, bodice is lined. No fabric tags, so the skirt is sort of a thick crepe back satin feel. Made in the USA, ILGWU tag. Dry clean only. It was quite dusty so I gave it a gentle cold water soak but could use a good clean. Tagged vintage size 9/10. Modern 2? Measures approximately 16” PTP, 12.5” across waist, 13.5” across shoulder seams, 23” across hip area, 60” STH. No stretch. General signs of age, fraying threads visible from inside seams. This An Antique Dress, Crafted In The Late1800s To Early 1900s. It Is A Deep Maroon Color With Embellishments Adorning The Skirt And Bodice. Once Restored, It Still Has Much Life In It. The fabric is a heavy velvet corduroy built In boning for that wasp waist fit and to tell you just how small it is , my granddaughter is modeling it and she’s tiny but to big for this . I like the blouse under it anyways . She modeled it so good ! So proud of her. She’s nearly 6 ft now ! The gown doesn’t have any issues which is so rare. The hem did come down during this photo shoot , she got her heel caught lol I fixed it . It will fit a 26 inch waist for the skirt to close that jacket you...
