talkSPORT is delighted to announce a new three-year partnership with WSL Football, holding the radio rights until 2028.
Following the success of talkSPORTâs coverage of the UEFA Womenâs EURO 2025 this summer, talkSPORT is upping its broadcast offering of the WSL with 16 games across the season live on the network.
With the WSL season kicking off this weekend, talkSPORT will bring audiences updates from games across the season, with reporters on the ground on hand with post match interviews with managers and players.
Every club in the WSL will be represented on air, with two live interviews per club per season on key talkSPORT shows on air and in vision, including on womenâs football show The Kick Back, hosted by Shebahn Aherne and her sister, Irish football international Ruesha Littlejohn.
Guests from the WSL will also feature on talkSPORTâs Women's Football Weekly Podcast, dedicated spaces for Women's Football.
Liam Fisher, head of talkSPORT, says, âFootball came home for England at the UEFA Womenâs EURO 2025, so itâs fitting that talkSPORT will be home to the WSL on the radio for the next three years and expand our commitment to womenâs football.â
Zarah Al-Kudcy, Chief Revenue Officer for WSL Football, said: "talkSPORT are an important network for our secondary fans; fans who find women's football through the men's game.
âWe're pleased that they have committed to providing coverage of the Barclays Women's Super League for a longer term of three seasons.
"As well as the existing shows they have for the women's game, we are looking forward to the additional support and coverage they will be providing our clubs and players.â
