August 8-10
Performing Arts Fort Worth Presents The Book of Mormon

Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds at Jubilee Theatre
Jubilee Theatre brings Jamaica to downtown Fort Worth with Three Little Birds, a joyful musical based on Cedella Marley’s book. Featuring Bob Marley’s hits like “One Love,” this family-friendly show follows young Ziggy’s journey toward courage and hope through this colorful and uplifting celebration of music, friendship, and self-discovery.

August 16
Gretchen Wilson Performs at Billy Bob’s Texas
Mid-August, Gretchen Wilson brings her powerhouse vocals to the Stockyards with a late-night set at Billy Bob’s Texas. Known for hits like “Redneck Woman” and “Here for the Party,” the Grammy winner delivers rowdy country charm. The show opens with Dixie Rex playing the Honky Tonk Stage.

August 16
Amplify 817 Showcase at Birdie’s Social Club
Celebrate the sound of Fort Worth at this free, all-ages showcase featuring local stars 88 Killa, Kendi Jean, Grady Spencer, and Tipps & Obermiller. Presented by the Fort Worth Public Library since 2021, the annual Amplify 817 Showcase highlights the city’s music scene with live performances from Amplify 817’s genre-spanning roster of over 100 local artists. 

August 20
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Performs Stars of the Symphony
Hear the Fort Worth Symphony’s finest take center stage in this rare solo showcase. Principal Oboe Jennifer Corning Lucio, Associate Principal Viola Anna Kolotylina, and Associate Principal Cello Keira Fullerton perform standout works by Verdi, Borodin, Marcello, and more in a dazzling display of hometown talent.

August 22
Lera Lynn Performs at Tulips FTW
Nashville’s Lera Lynn returns to Fort Worth with her signature blend of noir-folk and smoky Americana. Sharing the stage is Andrew Combs, known for his warm, soulful songwriting. Expect haunting harmonies, raw emotion, and unforgettable chemistry in one of Fort Worth’s most intimate listening rooms.

Shinedown Performs at Dickies Arena
Shinedown brings their massive Dance Kid Dance Tour to Fort Worth with support from alt-rock icons BUSH and rising country-Americana star Morgan Wade. Expect a high-powered night of chart-topping anthems, explosive live energy, and unforgettable performances from three standout acts.
